SMS Opt-In Workflow

This page describes the opt-in process for receiving SMS messages from Colego.ai, specifically from our AI agent Rachel, as part of the candidate screening process for healthcare job opportunities.

Verbal Consent Process

  • Candidates are contacted via phone or voice call by Rachel, our AI agent.
  • During the conversation, Rachel clearly states that the candidate may receive follow-up text messages regarding their job application status, interview reminders, or next steps.
  • The candidate gives verbal confirmation that they agree to receive SMS messages.
  • Consent is documented in our candidate tracking system, including the call date/time, the agent identifier (AI or human), and confirmation that consent was granted.

Message Example

"Rachel(Colego Rep): As part of our job matching service, we can send you SMS messages about travel nursing opportunities, application updates, and scheduling. These may include up to 10 messages per month. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile phone service plan. You can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or HELP for help. Do you agree to receive these messages?

Candidate: Yes, I agree.

Rachel(Colego Rep): Great! We'll send you a confirmation text shortly, and you can opt out any time by replying STOP. "

Opt-Out Option

Every SMS message sent includes clear instructions for opting out by replying "STOP". Opt-out requests are honored immediately and logged in our system.
